Before joining MDS Pharma Services in 2003 as Senior Vice President for Discovery and Preclinical of Early Stage Development, Mr. Béland served as Vice President, Corporate and Scientific Affairs for Jamieson Laboratories; Vice President, General Manager, Nutrition Division for R.P. Scherer and President, North America for Arkopharma LLC.
Mr. Béland attended university in Health Sciences at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf and received a bachelor of science in Chemistry from the Université de Montréal. He has been a member of the Quebec Order of Chemists since 1982.
